WTF Galvanotechnik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Dalmsdorf, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, is a family-run medium-sized company. It evolved from the sole proprietorship “Wolf-Thilo Fortak, Industrial Consulting and Technical Services for Electroplating,” which was founded in 1991.

The business concept is to offer customers in the surface treatment industry a broad spectrum of expertise, both in the supply of technology and in the areas of consulting and process optimization.

In November 1991, chemical engineer and experienced electroplating plant manager Wolf-Thilo Fortak launched his own business with the idea of providing engineering consulting services in the field of surface technology to companies across a wide range of industries, while also supplying rack systems tailored to meet each customer’s specific needs. The focus was on contact and suspension options that maximize space utilization and on the durability of the racks and fixtures.

We offer turnkey systems, including process-specific chemicals, water treatment, and exhaust air purification, providing a comprehensive, worry-free package ranging from the smallest current-transferring contact to fully automated electroplating or electropolishing systems.
